Physical Activity--walk, garden in the sunshine.

Utilizing Deep Breathing and Grounding Techniques (what do you see, hear and taste?)
Do something different.
Take up an interesting hobby.
Listen to uplifting music.
Focus your attention fully on another activity--mindful activity.
Use Positive Affirmations and Self Talk.
Call a friend, be with others.
Use Guided Imagery and/or Safe Place Imagery.
Change negative self talk.
Do not catastrophize the situation.
Write down your thoughts and feeling and tell yourself this will pass.
Take each day and one moment at a time.
Use relaxation techniques, mediation and prayer.
Ask yourself if there is another way to look at the situation.
Logically ask yourself if you are over exaggerating the situation.
Am I exaggerating the negative and minimizing the positive.
Do a daily gratitude list.
Get out and help others.
Set realistic goals.
